Pot Roast
This easy crockpot pot roast is made with chuck roast,cream of mushroom soup, onion soup mix, and red wine. Slow-cooked untilfork-tender, it’s the ultimate comfort food served with mashed potatoes ornoodles

- 3-4 lb pot roast or chuck steak
- 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
- 1 1/4 cup beef broth
- 1 package dry onion soup mix
- 1.2 cup red wine
In a sauce pot on low add cream of mushroom soup, beef broth and red wine and stir together until combined. Add onion soup mix and heat until warm.
Pour mixture over pot roast in a crockpot.
Cook on low 8-9 hours until tender.
Serve over noodles or with mashed potaoes.
TIPS
Pot roast will produce a good amount of gravy to use for the noodles.
If you desire, you can add carrots at the beginning of cooking.
