Cap’n Crunch French Toast

Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside—this Cap’n Crunch French Toast is coated in crushed cereal and pan-fried to perfection. A fun and fast breakfast idea the whole family will love!

Ingredients
  

  • 6 slices Texas Toast Bread
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 cups Cap’n Crunch cereal
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • Put the cereal in a Ziploc bag and crunch with a rolling pin.
  • In a medium-size bowl, add the eggs, heavy cream, vanilla extract, sugar, and cinnamon. Whisk until well combined.
  • Set out 2 bowls, one with the egg mixture and the other with the crushed cereal.
  • Grab a slice of bread, drench in the egg mixture, and then coat with crushed cereal. Repeat until all slices are drenched and coated
  • Heat 2 tbsp of butter in a large pan and cook French toast for about 6-8 minutes, or until the outside is crispy. Make sure to flip halfway.
  • Enjoy with syrup, ice cream, or berries
