  • 8 oz. Cream Cheese
  • 8 oz. Whipped Topping thawed
  • 1 box brownie mix
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Heat treat the brownie mix (see below for details)
  • With a hand mixer, beat the cream cheese in a large bowl.
  • Add the whipped topping and vanilla extract to the cream cheese and mix well until smooth.
  • Add the brownie mix and milk to the cream cheese mixture
  • Top with mini chocolate chips
  • Refrigerate for at least an hour before serving.
  • Serve with your favorite dippers such as strawberries, pretzels, graham crackers, etc.

Heat Treat Method:

  • Heat treating brownie mix is an important step when using it in no-bake recipes to ensure it's safe to eat, as raw flour can sometimes contain harmful bacteria. To heat treat, preheat your oven to 300°F. Spread the dry brownie mix evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for about 5 to 7 minutes, stirring once or twice to ensure even heating. Use a food thermometer to make sure the mix reaches at least 165°F throughout. Once it's heated, let it cool completely before using in your no-bake desserts like brownie batter dip or edible cookie dough.
