Heat Treat Method:
Heat treating brownie mix is an important step when using it in no-bake recipes to ensure it's safe to eat, as raw flour can sometimes contain harmful bacteria. To heat treat, preheat your oven to 300°F. Spread the dry brownie mix evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for about 5 to 7 minutes, stirring once or twice to ensure even heating. Use a food thermometer to make sure the mix reaches at least 165°F throughout. Once it's heated, let it cool completely before using in your no-bake desserts like brownie batter dip or edible cookie dough.
