Breakfast Saugage Cresent Rolls

These Breakfast Sausage Crescent Rolls are filled with savory sausage and gooey cheese, then baked until golden. An easy, kid-friendly breakfast or brunch recipe ready in 30 minutes.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound sauage bulk
  • 1 package Crescent Rolls 8 oz
  • 2 cups shredded cheese mozzarella or cheddar

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375
  • Cook sauage in a large skillet over medium heat until brown and crumbled, drain excess grease and set aside
  • Unroll the cresent roll dough and separate it into triangles, lay the triangles flat on a clean surface
  • Place a small amount of cooked saugage and shredded cheese on the wide part of each crescent roll triangle. Roll each triangle, starting from the wide side and rolling towards the pointed side. Make sure too seal the filling inside the dough.
  • Place the stuffed crescent rolls, seam side down in a grreased 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Make sure they are snug but not overlapping too much
  • Sprinkle with a little extra cheese over the top of the rolls if desired for a gooey finish
  • Bake in a pre-heated over for 20-22 minutes or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  • Let the rolls cool for 5 minutes before serving. They are perfect for breakfast, brunch or just a filling snack
